Pub & Restaurant Operations Manager – Exeter City Centre

Salary: £42,000
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7

We are recruiting on behalf of a busy, fresh food-led venue in Exeter city centre for an experienced and driven Pub & Restaurant Operations Manager.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the pub and restaurant, ensuring smooth service and consistently high standards across both food and drink.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead from the front, support your team during service, and create a positive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pub and restaurant operations
• Deliver consistently high standards of service and guest experience
• Lead from the front during service and support the team when needed
• Train, develop, and motivate team members
• Maintain strong operational control and organisation
• Drive a positive team culture and clear communication

Requirements

• Previous experience in pub and/or restaurant management
• Strong operational management experience
• Proven ability to train and develop a team
• Outgoing, hands-on personality
• Passion for delivering excellent service
• Ability to step in, take control, and lead when required
